The Children's Receiving Home at a Glimpse

For decades, the Children's Receiving Home of Sacramento served as a shelter for kids in crisis. But over the year, the needs of children have really changed. And our focus is now on providing intensive mental health treatment services to many of the most vulnerable children in the Sacramento region. And whether that's provided through our residential treatment program or through one of our outpatient programs provided on our campus or in the community.

From preschool to early adulthood, the Children's Receiving Home of Sacramento strives to cultivate resilience and self-sufficiency in the youth we serve. This important work is made possible because of the dedicated work of our team, alumni, community support, volunteers, and our donors.
