Habib, a mule deer fawn

Habib was only a few days old, at 5 lbs, when the game wardens delivered him to our rehabilitator. He was very ill, dehydrated and too weak to stand. With the help of the State Vet, we were able to get this little fawn the proper nutrition. Within a week, he was greedily drinking his formula. Habib is now a 5 year old, 250 lb, gentle, non- releasable resident of our facility. He is also the most photographed deer in El Paso and an ambassador for wildlife.
