Hello! The Humane Society of Northern Virginia (Powered by
Advocates for Abused and Abandoned Pets) is an all-volunteer rescue group that believes PETS ARE FOR LIFE!
Everything we do is based on this philosophy. From offering low-cost dog training and education programs, to providing pet food and other services to community members.
We have a soft spot for senior pets, pets in need of medical attention, and others that are too often overlooked.
HSNV advocates for pets without a voice, educates the public on the value of pets as loving family members, and does whatever it takes to help pets in need.
Our team of volunteers is committed to place pets in the best homes possible. Until they go home, pets in our charge are loved, cared for, and spoiled just like our own.
