I learned that I'm Unstoppable!
My name is Lucy. When I started Girls on the Run, I was scared when I heard we would be running 3 miles at the end of the season! My coaches helped me set small goals throughout the season and showed me that it didn't matter how fast I ran, as long as I kept moving forward. I ran a little more at every practice and I learned how to stand up for myself, manage stress, be a good friend, and speak to myself with kind words! After 10 weeks of training, I was ready for the 5K!
